June Recap

The biggest thing that happened at TPK in June was the release of "Flourish With Me: A Pointed Pen Calligraphy Course". I am so proud of that course and impressed with what students are making!

"Flourish With Me" student Robyn L. posted this impressive photo of her flourishing practice. She says: "I'm working through [the TPK] Flourish With Me mini workshop. This was my first pass at this flourished phrase. This is a self-paced course so you can do it any time! It's a great value, especially if you are just getting your feet wet with flourishing."

Here's Everything Else That Happened:

- We kicked off the month with the Magical DIY Guitar Birthday Card Tutorial. The tutorial incorporates a guitar cut-out and intricate calligraphy flourishes.

- Nico Ng wrote a fabulous Father's Day Card guest tutorial. Father's Day has come and gone by now, but the card concept is worth pinning for next year!

- Next, we examined different types of calligraphy and how to learn each one in Calligraphy 101: The Ultimate Guide for Calligraphy Beginners.

This graphic shows various different types of calligraphy to benefit the calligraphy beginner, from broad edge to pretty penmanship.

- Nico Ng returned for an inspirational Radiant Geometry Hand Lettering Tutorial. (Who doesn't love a gold, black, and white color scheme with some clever geometry?)

- Lace butterfly washi tape came on the scene, and it is *stunning*.

- TPK re-released Katharine Watson's fantastic (Free!) Block Printed Envelope Art Template. You'll love the template when you want to send pretty mail, but lack the time to do so.

- I revealed seven secrets to staying in love with calligraphy ... because I want you to stay excited, inspired, and successful in your writing endeavors!

A Guide to the Different Types of Calligraphy (+ a Quiz)

- We ended the month with tips for creating artful postage stamp collages to elevate any envelope.
